"Resource Gossip" with Carsten Lützen



This exercise is a brilliant way to align expectations, for instance, towards a new team member. I learned this exercise from an awesome Solution-Focused Coach Elvira Kalmár.

The exercise is quite simple, and a bit extreme to some: Sit in a circle, have the newcomer turn the back on the circle, and have the team to gossip in a positive and constructive manner.
When everybody have shared their “gossip” the newcomer returns to the circle and share his or hers reactions.
